Text to Self Chapter 17-23

During these section of the book, it reminded me of the way people can lie and even my self. The way that people can treat and offend them t the same time. in my personal view, that his father lie to him about having a brother. Now his duty was to go to Pakistan and get hid nephew. Many people have lie to me and I would eventually forget. What his father said to him was that, "the only sin that you can commit was to lie". You are taking away everything or knowledge from another person. We us students lie to almost every teacher about something. we may not lie about everything but probably a partial. In conclusion, almost everyone has lie in their life.

CHAPTER 10-17

THE THINGS THAT I LEARNED WAS THAT PEOPLE FROM AFGHANISTAN WERE BEING SMUGGLED TO PAKISTAN AND THEN TO AMERICA. THEY WERE TRYING TO BE FREE AND HAVE AT LEAST FREEDOM.THE WAR BETWEEN RUSSIA AND AFGHANISTAN WAS GOING TERRIBLE AND MANY DID NOT WANTED TO BE THERE. THEY WERE LOOSING THEIR JOBS AND MANY EVEN THEIR LIFE'S. THERE WERE DIFFERENT KIND OF PEOPLE, BUT WANTED THE SAME THING "FREEDOM". PEOPLE WERE DI EYING ARE ALSO BEING RAPE, IF MEN DID ANYTHING, THEN THEY WOULD BE KILL. THERE FORE, THE ISLAMIC RELIGION DOES NOT INFLUENCE OF HOW PEOPLE CAN THINK AND ACT. THE WAY THAT THEY DEFEND THEIR WIVES AND TRY TO SHOW THAT THEY CAN DO ANYTHING. PEOPLE WERE BEING TREATED A WHOLE LOT DIFFERENT.IN CONCLUSION, THE ISLAMIC RELIGION IS LIKE ANY OTHER RELIGION.

Chapter 10 was the most striking chapter so far. The way that the Russian soldier tries to have be with the lady(mention in the book), just because they are in war. It reminded me of the way immigrants travel to another place or country for a better life. The way that they need to sneak out of their own country and to learned how to communicate with other people. During the traveling, can happed many things. For example, one of the men that were traveling with them, die and his father shoot himself. In the news you often see how people die travel in trains and ships, so they can reach America. Many people don’t see that and think that is easy, but you can be expose to may dangers. People immigrate from a better life that he or she already has. In conclusion, it reminded me of people immigrating to another country.

THE INSLAMIC CULTURE!!!

WHAT I FOUND WAS THAT FRIENDS STAY FRIENDS. FOR EXAMPLE, WHEN AMIR AND HIS FREIND WERE PASSING TROUGHT THE BATTLE FIELD, THE ONLY THING THAT HE TOLD HIS FREIND WAS TO KEEP WALKING. THAT SHOWS THAT HE CARED ABOUT HIM AND THAT EVERYTHING WAS A MISTAKE. HE WANTED HIS FRIEND TO FEEL APPRECIATED. THAT TELLS ME THAT ISLAMIC PEOPLE CARE ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE AND THAT THEY ARE GREAT FRIENDS. ACOURSE NOT EVERYONE DOES THAT, BUT FOR ME I DID LIKE HOW AMIR DEFENDENT HIS FRIEND. WHAT I LEARNED WAS TO BE A BETER FRIEND AND PERSON. IT ALSO SHOW THAT IN THE ISLAMIC CULTURE ARE DETERMINE AND DO WHAT THEY REALLY WANT.

I REMEMBER HAVING A FRIEND LIKE AMIR HAD.LIKE AMIR,I MOVED WHEN I WAS YOUNG, MADE A NEW LIFE. I REMEMBER WHEN I USED TO PLAY WITH MY FRIENDS BACK IN MEXICO. EVEN NOW THEY KEEP ASKING ME TO GO BACK, BUT I DON'T THINK THAT WE WOULD GET ALONG AS WE USED TOO, IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME. I STILL REMEMEBR HAVING A LOT OF THINGS IN COMMON, BUT NOW WE ARE DIFFERENT AND THEY STILL WAIT FOR ME TO GO BACK. THE CHOICES THAT I MADE BEFORE, THEY ARE STILL WITH ME. FOR EXAMPLE, I DECIDED TO BE HERE AND NOW I DON'T KNOW IF I WANT TO GO BACK. THEY ARE DIFFERENT SITUATIONS PEOPLE CAN GET INTO. IN MEXICO I WENT TO SCHOOLAND I REMEMBER A KID, THAT WOULD ALWAYS SAID THAT HE WOULD BE WITH MEUNTIL WE GOT MARRIED. FIVE YEARS LATER, BEING IN THIS COUNTRY HE WOULD ALWAYS LEAVE MESSANGES FOR. HE NEVER GAVE UP UNTIL FIVE YEARS AGO AND I NEVER KNEEW ANYTHING ABOUT HIM.

AT THE END HE IS NOT THE KING AND HE JUST HELPED OTHER PEOPLE TO BECAME THE KING. THE MOTION THAT HE IS DOING WITH THE HANDS SHOWS THAT HE DID NOT WANTED BUT STILL DID IT.
